BAABA KULKA

Baaba Kulka is a project spearheaded by the gold selling and Fryderyk nominated (the Polish equivalent of a Brit) artist Gaba Kulka. The explosive creativity of the five individual talents that make up Baaba Kulka has resulted in an innovative and unique take on ten Iron Maiden classics.

The Baaba Kulka project arises from the need of five exceptional talents to pay homage to the group Iron Maiden. The initial idea for the five to show their love of the legendary heavy metal band was to perform a one off show at the Hard Rock Cafe in Warsaw. However the success of this first performance led to the band undertaking a Polish tour.

The musicians forming the Baaba Kulka project have collaborated previously. Piotr Zabrodzki and Tomasz Duda accompanied Gaba Kulka on her Gold status album ‘Hat, Rabbit’. This their latest cooperation is a unique and innovative take on ten Iron Maiden classics including ‘Aces High’, Number of the Beast’ and ‘Children of the Damned’.
